She watched his hope dwindle but refused to step back. She refused to display pain the threatened to break her integrity. Even if soul-less, she wanted to keep him alive in-turn keep the hope of a thousand more alive.

Through the thick and thin, with you and only you
Just another,
To be the only part that remain
What she was but never again
What she was now, something she never was before, something she never will be. Never again
Not long enough,
To hold on a little longer to something that was never meant to stay
Drunk in the words that weren’t spoken,
In the flaring storms that dodge,it is your loving arms that hold the subtle breath of my sanity
Grip of air…
