A creaking heart inside
Creaks a little everyday
But you inside are safe away
Locked in the warmth that hides
Away from the darkness that creeps
The smoke of time covers the way
Stumbling feet steps forward
Yet I never let a speck touch you
Even as your grave gathered dust
And the fallen leaves crumble beneath
I keep you safe in my rusted heart
